Best Work At Home Business Affiliate Strategy To Quickly Increase Affiliate Earnings

The truth is that the best work at home business affiliates eaing hefty monthly checks from their affiliate programs will hardly tell you their money-making secrets. Top work at home business affiliates will hardly be expected to spill the beans about all the best tricks and tips they use to ea serious cash.

So this best work at home business affiliate tip that you are about to read is a rare treat and you should ensure that you make the most of it.

It actually all starts with the sort of affiliate program that you join. You must ensure that the best work at home business affiliate scheme that you have joined pays you commission on your second tier and third tier sub affiliates.

Next you must appreciate that no matter how hard you work, you are only one individual best work at home business entrepreneur who can only do so much and no more. So it makes a lot of sense if you recruit as many sub affiliates under you as you possibly can. Because by hem each doing a little work, the impact for you can really be huge as we shall see later on in this article. In fact create a strategy to do just that – for recruiting sub affiliates only. In my main program there is actually a different affiliate link you get from your home page whose sole purpose is for you to use to recruit sub affiliates.

Let us do a little math here on what your best work at home business can achieve from this strategy. Go for a really high number of sub affiliates, but let us just say that you have only 50 sub affiliates registered in your program under you. My favorite program pays out $15 on sales achieved by first tier affiliates so let's say they manage just a single sale each month on average. That will ea you $750. Now if those 50 smart guys recruit another couple of guys each under them (your third tier affiliates) that can easily give you another 150 guys, whose work you will ea from. Actually the average is about 4 persons or more so you will tend to get many more third tier affiliates from just 50 sub affiliates, but for the sake of our math here, let us keep the figure low.

In my best work at home business affiliate program those third tier guys will ea me $10 for every sale they make, so that will give me $1,500. And if I add that to what I've eaed from my first tier sub affiliates the total will be $2,250 without me lifting a finger.

Now imagine what you can do with just 500 sub-affiliates registered directly under you on such a work at home business best affiliate program? This is actually not too difficult to achieve.

In other words, it pays big to have a special strategy designed only to recruit sub-affiliates to your best work at home business affiliate program, and it should be worth a couple of thousand dollars to you every month for every 50 or so that you can recruit.

Educating Consumers Can Translate Into Affiliate Success

Your site fills the needs of a niche, and you're getting to be the "go to" place for your subject. You have a great archive of articles, and you authoritatively answer questions from your target group. What's missing? Product or service reviews.

By reviewing products and services, you provide your merchant partners with an invaluable service – pre-selling. You've already done the first step of the work when you decided to form affiliate relationships with certain companies. You know the buyers of their products and services. But different people want different versions, price ranges and features. You are ideally situated to help them move forward with a purchase, one that makes commissions for you!

A product review can be in-depth descriptions and discussions of individual products, in a "Featured Product" showcase. A second form is the comparison of several products, for instance, stadium blankets. Read through product descriptions and come up with the attributes that people look for in stadium blankets. Then make a grid with affiliate merchants listed in the left column, and half dozen of the most important attributes listed in columns across the top. Then fill in the information about five or six products. You will also want to have a column for your comments, and perhaps a designation of "Best Value" or "Hot Product".

Have fun with it. Use things, try things on, and really lea about your merchants or advertisers. And if you find that the products of a particular merchant just aren't measuring up, you might want to investigate further. The quality of merchant products does reflect on your site, and you need to constantly be guard it. By doing product reviews, you'll be doing a service to your site as well as to your site visitors.

How Smaller Focused Affiliates Can Compete with Offline Giants

There are still big companies that think they can compete effectively online solely by virtue of the reputation they have eaed in the offline world. And yes, people visit their branded sites for transactions, coupons, recipes and sweepstakes. But many of them have done nothing to create an environment that compels visitors to retu regularly.

Affiliates can use this to their advantage. You can create a site that has information and solutions that have value in themselves, without selling anything. You can give advice, review products and services, reprint expert articles, publish studies. Provide tips and detailed FAQ's. Become a voice and an advocate of your niche.

The difference is that you are creating a relationship, and they are furthering a transaction. For example, a brand name auto supply store sells car waxes and polishes. Your affiliate car detailing and accessory site links to stores that sell similar products. The difference is that you have several articles about getting bugs and sap off a car before waxing. And more articles about the number of times a car can be run through a car wash before different products are washed off. A humorous article by a site visitor about the perils of an electric buffer. Add these to some charts with cost, time to apply and overall ratings of products. Why would anyone buy from the other site, unless they couldn't find you in a search? (That's another article, but the more content on your site the better you will continue to do in searches.)

If you have enough good content, you'll find that even after the buyer has bought the product with a manufacturer or distributor web address printed on it, he'll retu to you – because you may have the next greatest thing he may have missed otherwise. Now that's how to compete!

Affililate Newsletters Can Increase Profits

According to statistics, it takes between five and seven impressions before an online visitor buys a particular product or service. So, as long as you are attracting visitors with the subject matter and content of your affiliate site, the trick is to keep them coming back on a regular basis, to increase the likelihood that they will become buyers. This is a situation where developing a newsletter makes sense.

Think of information these site visitors want or need to know. Trends, news, updates on the big players, whatever it is – real information, not a re-hash or a copycat site. Is there already a truly authoritarian source for this information, or could you become this source? Even if there is one (or a few), study them to understand their focus. There still may be room for you to become the source of information or news for a well-defined segment of your market.

Perhaps you have a site focusing on boating on the Long Island Sound, the body of water bordering parts of Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York. You may already affiliate relationships with boatyards and yacht clubs with transient moorings, and food and equipment sellers. Would a newsletter focusing upon the new water-accessible restaurants, food and liquor delivery services and recipes for the local catches and tips for the on-board cook be welcomed by your market?

Ask them, and test with some related articles, to see how well they're received. With the newsletter, you can begin to create a sense of community, you can ask for subscriber opt-in, and keep your site before the interested and engaged people who will buy your affiliate merchants' products and services.

How To Evaluate An Affiliate Program

Ok so you think you have found a good affiliate program to promote on your website or in your newsletter? There are some basic things you need to look out for before joining any affiliate program. Some of them may seem minor but those little petty things can cause you to lose hundreds of dollars in affiliate revenue.

Here are some of the basic things to watch out for when joining an affiliate program:

No Affiliate Manager Contact Information
If they don't provide you with a way to contact them about their affiliate program then what are you going to do if you have a problem? Who are you going to email or call if your check doesn't arrive?

Commission Is To Low
Do you really want to spend time on an affiliate program that pays a measely 2%? I see these programs all over. They pitch their affiliate program and make it sound like it is a privelidge to join their affiliate program and ea pennies per sale. I usually stay away from programs that offer less than 8% commission. I will go a little lower if the products sell good and there is a good profit.

Unreasonable Cookie Length
Make sure you find this in their terms or information pages. This is the amount of time that the customer that clicks through your link remains yours. The standard cookie length is 30 days. This means that if your visitor clicks your affiliate link then they have 30 days to buy for you to get credit. You really don't want to promote an affiliate program that offers less than a 30 day cookie length.

Merchant Site Has Traffic Leaks
Probably the most common thing I see with affiliate programs. Mostly from newbie merchants that just got their affiliate program started. Most don't realize what they are doing and usually will correct the problem once I explain to them how traffic leaks are hurting their business and their affiliate program. Traffic leaks are links on the affiliate program site that potential customers can click on and go to other sites... sites that the affiliate won't get credit for if the visitor buys something. Leaks can consist of third-party banner ads, Google AdSense ads, popups, popunders, text links, etc...

No Phone Sale Tracking
With the inteet market growing so rapidly every year this means more customers are shopping online. Alot of them will call the merchants 800 number to call in their order instead of submitting it online. Where does this leave you? The merchant gets the cash on the sale while you get stiffed. So when evaluating an affiliate program be sure to check to see if the merchant has measures set up to track phone orders for affiliates. It is simple to set up and it puts the affiliates ID number next to the phone number. So when customers call in they are asked for that number so they can manually credit the appropriate affiliate for the sale.

How to Create Multiple Streams of Income Part 2

A while back I wrote a little article called "My Vision of Multiple Streams of Income". After receiving several emails asking for a sequel and sharing more real life experience I decided to give an update on my jouey with SFI and Stone Evans' PIPS system.

As I mentioned in my last article I went off a good start with this system and I honestly can attest it really works. The only negative thing is, if you want to call it this way, that I put a lot of effort into this project. The system is designed to run on autopilot, that's great. But until you've reached a certain level of visibility, you need run your promotions around the clock. I'm almost there.

As an example: I run several Google AdWords campaigns to promote my website and SFI. The reason for this is simple. This is a highly competitive market and achieving high rankings with the major search engines takes a long time and due to the rough competition you won't be able to reach the top without a few backdoor tricks.

So I took the route of actually spending some advertising money and in retu I have a wide spread exposure. Remember the baseball movie with Kevin Kostner "Field of Dreams" with the famous remark "If you build it they will come"? Unfortunately this is no longer true for the inteet.

Back to the topic of controlling the advertising cost with Google AdWords. I closely track my expenses and I keep a lit on it if it gets too high.

The tricky part is to decide when it is too high. I don't have an answer for this. For me it means whatever I'm comfortable with. Because you're building residual income and you're not aiming for a single sale. This is hard to gauge. Conversion rates are useless, although my conversion rate so far is over 20%. That is pretty good from what I read about this topic. What this number means in subsequent income has to be determined.

I also tapped into the extensive library of SFI's partner IAHBE. At first I just joined this organization because it guarantees my position in the SFI network. But after researching their services and utilizing their benefits like free mail leads, I have to say that this is a great institution. It's worth every penny of your monthly fees.

Speaking about value-added services and benefits. The one thing I'm truly impressed with is the quality and consistency of the marketing material offered by SFI. The wealth of online and offline marketing material can be overwhelming, but if you use it appropriate it is a very effective tool. Of course SFI also offers quality products and services, which makes it easy to sell.

By using Stone Evans' PIPS (Plugin Profit Site) system I could maximize these efforts. I'm selling all sorts of products and I already received several commission checks through my affiliate program with Clickbank. This is a huge affiliate provider for electronic books and software. My job is to attract customers to the products and then the manufacturer or author of the product does all the selling and credit card processing. As soon as the credit card is processed I receive a commission, which varies between products.

After about 3 months of running this business I would say that I'm still a little bit negative with my finances, but this is due to my extensive Google AdWords campaigns. By not counting this, I'm actually making some money. Nothing to brag about, but maybe in another 3 months my tune might change.

Please send me an email if you like to hear an update more often.

Benefits of Affiliate Programs to Internet Marketers

An affiliate program is, simply defined, a sales job in which you ea a commission. You will be an independent representative of a company, offering their services and products to prospective customers. When one of the customers makes a purchase, you get a portion of the profit. Inteet marketers can increase traffic to their own web sites and make money form the sales of others through affiliate marketing programs.

Inteet marketers can be affiliates for several products from multiple companies, on as many web sites as you operate, in as many businesses as you desire. You don't have to travel to remote locations, yet the inteet places you in front of a worldwide marketplace. This gives you incredible diversity in the products you choose, markets in which you do business and neighborhoods in which to sell, all from the comfort of your own home in front of your computer screen. You could possibly make several sales at once, but you will never have to deal with face-to-face rejection. When doing business on the inteet, you don't necessarily need to make sales to ea lucrative commissions. Certain affiliate marketing programs will pay you if someone just clicks on a link you place on your web site, fills out an application, or even requests additional information. And here's the most attractive part - your web sites work for you twenty four hours a day, each and every day.

Commission rates will depend on the types of products or services that are offered. Tangible goods that will have to be shipped to customers will pay lower commission rates than products like e-books or software that can be downloaded immediately. However, 10% of a $600 television is more money than 60% of a $40 software program, so you have to remember to consider the big picture when deciding what affiliate programs to join. For the best affiliate sales experience, you will want to offer products and services that will appeal to the targeted audience of your web site. As an inteet marketer, you will need to appeal to the interests of your customers when placing affiliate links on your web site.

There are various ways to join affiliate programs. Some retailers operate their own program, and you will join through the merchant web site. But many inteet marketers choose to operate through an affiliate network. These independent companies offer sign-up, payment, tracking and affiliate program management services to retailers and affiliate marketers. A couple of well-known names are Clickbank and Linkshare. Simply perform a search for affiliate programs and you are sure to find more.

Your sales and clicks are tracked by software. It is your job to make sure your links follow the procedures and rules posted by your merchant or affiliate network. Some browsers, ad-blockers, and coding practices can prevent the tracking links on your web site from functioning correctly, and you might not get credit if one of your clicks results a sale. Most affiliate marketers encounter this problem eventually. When it happens, remember it's not intentional, so do not feel as if you have been victimized in some way. Inteet marketing technology is very good, but it's not perfect.

For almost all inteet marketers, joining affiliate marketing programs give you a cheap and easy way to get started in an online business. These programs can help you produce income while you lea inteet marketing techniques and work towards developing your own product or service.

How to Earn an Income with Affiliate Programs

An affiliate is someone who eas a part-time or full-time income from selling other people's products and then eas a commission on each product that is being sold through promoting it on their own website, newsletter or email list, depending on the preferred method of delivering their online business. Commission can range from around 5% to approximately 75% for each product, according to the value and popularity given to the products that are promoted.

Selling information appears to be one of the most profitable ways of eaing an income as an affiliate, since the public tend to go online to search for information about a subject they want to find out more about. The commission for selling information products online is usually in the region of 50% and higher for digital products. This obviously provides the affiliate marketer with plenty of incentive therefore to promote the products on offer.

So how does someone become an affiliate?

1. Decide on a subject that interests you, since you will be creating a website, newsletter or writing articles around the theme of the product you are selling. For instance, are you interested in dogs? If so, you could create a basic website around an aspect of dog ownership.

Have you any special hobbies or talents that you enjoy spending time doing? Then, perhaps you could create a website or newsletter around the theme of your hobby or talent?

Are you getting any ideas?

2. Once you have decided on a suitable subject for your website, you are ready to start searching for products to advertise based on the theme of your website. For example, a website about dogs could involve all aspects of dog ownership or one aspect such as dog training, dog breeding or dog grooming.

3. When you've decided on a product to promote and sell, you should then sign up as an affiliate with the company offering that product on sale. This usually involves a straightforward means of completing an online registration form to list you as an affiliate of their company. They will then send an email to you with confirmation details of your affiliate membership and a special code that identifies you with the sale of each product that contains your code details.

4. Start creating your website. If you are already experienced at developing websites, then this aspect of building your online business will be the easiest part of your affiliate product promotion. However, if you are like many other online marketers who are new to the concept of web design, you can either lea to do this for free with the number of good tutorials that are available online or through books such as those sold on Amazon that teach you to build a website from scratch. The other alteative is to hire an experienced web designer to build your website for you for a reasonable fee.

5. When you have your website created, you are ready to let the world know your online existence. To do this, you can submit your website to the search engines such as Google and Yahoo for free. Also, write and post articles on your chosen subject and post them on relevant article sites as well as on your own website. Start a newsletter and get people to sign up for it through providing a place on your site for people to leave their names and email address. Also, you can join relevant forums and start posting messages with details of your own website in your signature. There are countless means of promoting and selling affiliate products online.

This article has hopefully provided you with a few ideas to get you started with eaing a part-time or full-time income as an Affiliate on the Inteet.

Choosing The Right Affiliate Company

"You need money to make money"! Thank goodness this is a myth that the inteet has almost destroyed. There are several ways to make money on the inteet that cost you huge set up and management costs, but there are still programs out there that cost nothing to join and train you for free.

Affiliate Marketing is still a legitimate way to make lots of money online. More money than you could ea from most jobs. The beauty of affiliate marketing is that you are your own boss and can choose your own dress code and still work at home while you are raising your family.

The concept behind affiliate marketing is simple. You ea commision when you sell one of the affiliate company's products or when an affiliate you have sponsored makes a sale.

As an affiliate, you do not have to worry about start up business costs. The Merchants package and ships the products you sell. There are no accounting costs as all the set up and managing is done by the Merchant.

Your business is to sell or create as many ways as possible to market the products provided by the affiliate company and teach others would be affiliates to copy your success.

It pays to choose your affiliate company carefully!

1. It should be a company with products you would be proud to be associated with and would have confidence selling. It makes good sense to buy and use the products you plan to market and try them out at home before you begin to market them yourself. That way you will have first hand knowledge of the products and be able to recommend them enthusiasm. The products should give value for money so your customers will be happy come back for repeat orders.

2. A company with good customer and affiliate support. Be sure the company you choose is willing to listens to its customers and affiliates suggestions and complaints and be willing to incorporate the knowledge gained into its policy to keep both customers and affiliates happy. Happy customers mean repeat orders which benefits everyone. The company should be a growing company that supports its affiliates and provides excellent training, resources and promotion aids to help the affiliates who market their products.

3. A company with a good compensation plan. Look for a company that pays a good commission percentage on their retail and wholesale sales and allows you to ea good residual income within a team framework. Make sure the company has a good payment record and you are not left for weeks waiting for your check to arrive.

4. A reputable company. The company you choose should be legitimate, not a get rich quick scheme. Check to see how long the company that has been trading. Does it have a good network of proud affiliates? Check its history with http://groups.google.com. Then do a rip-off report at http://www.Ripoffreport.com.

Be an Affiliate and Make Money from Another Site

You don't have to have a product or service of your own to sell on the Inteet; you can make money by selling someone else's!

An affiliate program is when a merchant pays you to send someone to their website.

You can be paid a specific amount per sale that you generated, or a click through to their site from yours.

To find an affiliate program that is right for you, two sites can help. One is Commission Junction and the other is LinkShare. These companies help you to find suitable affiliates, apply and manage the programs from their site and even send you one ticket for both affiliate link sites.

Banners will help you make money on your site and they are easy to find.

These banners direct people from your website to the affiliates. Statistics are kept on how many visitors your website directs to them and any sales that come from those visits.

Banners are easily placed on your website, each company will give you specific directions on how to add their banner.

There are seven steps to becoming an affiliate salesperson.

1 Choose what type of website you want.

Be sure it will be of interest to a wide variety of visitors.

2 Choose a domain name that will help you establish

your identity.

3 Find a reliable web host.

You can't make money if your web host is always

breaking down.

4 Build your web page, start out small, and add to it as

you begin getting more affiliates. You can start with

only one page and start making money.

5 Find affiliate programs to join.

One of those to check out is Google's AdSense.

6 Start sending people to your site, market, market, market!

It won't grow without some help from you.

Visitors have to go to your site before they visit one you

are affiliated with.

7 Be patient. The money won't roll in oveight. You can

become a top eaing affiliate but it takes work on your

end as well.

Affiliate marketing can be a moneymaker for your site. Pick the affiliates that you best associate with and run with the market.

Generate More Sales in ANY Affiliate Program Part One

It is my opinion that the best AFFILIATE PROGRAM ever…is still the AFFILIATE PROGRAM YOU own.

BUT…

For those who are content in promoting other peoples programs…I will share with you a few of my strategies for FREE!

But before I do that, let's see why most affiliates FAIL in just about any given affiliate program.

Like food products, affiliates have a 'use by date' or 'expiry date'. An average affiliate will expire 30 days after commencing …30 days or less to see if the program is any good and then they move on to the next affiliate program of the month.

If the affiliate doesn't see a retu on there investment in the first two weeks then they will not stay around.

DON'T BECOME A '30 DAY WONDER'.

It is time to make an informed decision (in choosing your affiliate program) and sticking with it. If you are one of those netpreneurs who changes affiliate programs often, and not making money from it, you now know why it isn't working.

So before you go any further, make an informed decision (research) on the program you want to promote.

Now back to those STRATEGIES – TWO STRATEGIES TO BE EXACT.

Strategy One

Very simple and straight forward, KNOW YOUR PRODUCT!

To know your product you need to USE IT, and know EVERYTHING there is to know about it. It's like going to watch a movie that you really, really enjoyed, you get this sense of excitement to share your great experience with others, well … you need to get that same excitement about your product that only comes about by KNOWING YOUR PRODUCT.

Strategy Two

The Golden Question for all affiliates is 'How can I create an advantage for me?'

The Answer: Incentive Marketing

If you have never heard of Incentive Marketing, you are sure to have been a victim of it in your every day life.

Think about it… have you ever Up sized your meal at McDonald's, have you ever brought anything because of the Free Gift or Discount.

Incentive Marketing, Incentive Marketing, Incentive Marketing…

It doesn't matter that there are potentially thousands of other affiliates promoting the same program because from today onwards you are going to create an unfair advantage. Start thinking about what you could possibly use to create an unfair advantage and in PART TWO, I will give you the strategies you would need to become an SUPER INCENTIVE MARKETER.

How To Set Up Multiple Streams Of Income Using Affiliate Programs Part 1 of 5

Today I will give you ideas from Ken Evoy. Ken has helped more people set up successful Inteet businesses than anyone on the 'Net. And I'm not exaggerating.

Just to prove my point, as your first free gift, I am including a full fledged course written by Ken on the subject of setting up multiple streams of income using affiliate programs. Just go here to download the Affiliate Masters Course: http://www.netman-ecommerce-guru.com/Aff-Masters.zip

The Affiliate Masters Course gives you a proven formula called CTPM.

C stands for content based on what people are looking for. If you know what people are looking for, it becomes easy to position your product as the solution. If your product solves a buing problem for people, you will get sales.

The whole issue of content revolves around choosing the right words. In order to build a real business you have to focus in on keywords that will attract both customers and the search engines. Customers look for words to help them determine whether or not they are interested in what you are offering. The search engines use words to help customers find your site.

The Affiliate Masters Course discusses several ways to select the right content so your success is assured even before you launch your site. Creating high profitability topics, based on key words will be discussed in part 2 of this series.

T stands for targeted traffic. Before you can make any money on the Inteet, you have to have traffic to your site. Not just any traffic, but traffic that is interested in what you are selling. You can pay for highly targeted traffic by advertising in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) search engines. You can establish relationships with other websites not directly competing with your own to generate traffic. The best way, however, is to get free traffic from the search engines. Several free, paid and relationship oriented strategies are discussed in parts 3 and 4 of this series.

P stands for pre-selling. Pre-selling is a process of creating credibility in the mind of the prospect. Nobody trusts the Inteet these days. The only way to make any money is to provide valuable information that people need. Once they start trusting you, you can recommend products and services that will help your customers and make you money. The whole process is discussed in detail in the Course.

M stands for Monetization. Only AFTER you have gone through all of the above steps can you expect to make any money. The key in affiliate marketing is to choose the right affiliate programs. You can choose from backend providers, affiliate networks and aggregators. Each has its pros and cons (discussed in the Course).

Once you have identified some potential "directories" or other source of affiliates you need to dig into the details and find the really good ones. Check for quality of the product, strength and stability of the company, their ability to track sales made by affiliates, how they pay and how often, does their tracking system pay if the visitor comes back to the site directly and buys later, etc. The course contains too many details to cover here.

Right in the beginning of the Course is an example of how a complete novice used these principles to ea $49,000 in just over a year on his first attempt. He did much better on his second attempt by eaing over $300,000.

I hope you will take the time to actually go through this course. You are getting it free of charge so you may tend not to give it much importance, but the Affiliate Masters Course is one of the best and most comprehensive resources on affiliate marketing.

Next week you will receive some free software that will help you find highly profitable keywords. We will discuss several strategies to use keywords to ensure your success in your online business.

Free Affiliate Management Software

What would you do if you come across an advertisement of free affiliate management software? You will instantly download it or at least think about it after you tu off your computer. Daily you see a number of such advertisements. Most of the people believe in them and download the software only to land up in further troubles. Majority of the advertisements are fakers. They simply misguide you.

Free affiliate management software provides you with a number of options to manage your affiliate program by tracking of links, maintenance of client's records and various affiliate links. When you download "free" affiliate management software, you are not specified with the terms and conditions of downloading it. A recent research shows that people face a number of controversies after downloading such software. Generally you have to pay in one form or the other.

A case study reveals that a man has to pay about $200 for downloading "free" software. He was forced to buy another expensive software for the delivery of "free" affiliate management software. When you come across such advertisements on the net or anywhere, do not jump immediately to get the free software. Make a cautious research and then get the product. Verify if there are any terms and compulsory conditions that you have to fulfill after having the product.

You are not always misguided about free affiliate management software. There are some reputed sites that genuinely offer you free software. The free software provided by them are generally to try before you buy the product. A number of entrepreneurs provide free affiliate management software as a part of their marketing strategy. Software development students also put forward their affiliate management software for free distribution.

Free affiliate management software can certainly save your dollars. You just have to be a bit more alert while accessing them.

Getting Started In Affiliate Marketing

What do McDonalds, Quiznos, and Harley Davidson have in common? These companies all sell franchises to their business. That means a portion of the owner's revenue goes back to the parent company for each sale that's made. They're affiliated with the parent company. The affiliate marketing model is a similar concept.

So what exactly is affiliate marketing anyway? Simply stated it's pay for performance marketing. You sell someone's product and they give you a cut of the action. Your portion can be a set percentage, such as twenty-five percent, or a standard dollar amount. It's like a referral program. Have you ever referred business to a colleague and gotten something (money or a gift) in retu? Same concept.

There are thousands of affiliate programs available offering a variety of products and services – from those offered by independent small business owners like me to huge affiliate program networks like Commission Junction, LinkShare, ClickBank and PayDotCom. You can promote just about anything you can think of from insurance to pet supplies to banks, to wireless service / products and more – the options are pretty much limitless.

The best place to start when deciding what to offer is with your existing business. Think about what would add value to your business and browse the affiliate networks to find available products or services or head on over to a search engine and search for affiliate plus your topic. Let's say you are in the car business and want to find affiliate programs that complement your products and services. You could do a search affiliate+cars to find potential programs. Go ahead and try it now.

Bingo! That search shows you that cars.com has an affiliate program. It's important to note that there are also sponsored links for other affiliate networks that may contain programs you could join.

But what if you don't have an existing business? Where do you start with affiliate marketing? Start with what you know or what you are interested in. This is very important. If you choose to set up your affiliate business on a topic that doesn't interest you, you will quickly lose interest and have less success. It's just plain common sense that we spend more time on those things that interest us.

Start by brainstorming a list of your current hobbies and interests. Once you have a list, you can take a look at it and narrow it down to those areas that interest you the most. Then you can take that list and do a keyword search to see if there are other people out there who are interested too. Once you've found your hot market, seek out those programs on the affiliate networks and get started.

Affiliate Product Landing Pages Three Tactics That Sell

As competition within the online affiliate sales arena rises to a fierce boil, affiliate sellers expecting any degree of success must first find effective methods to set themselves apart from the crowd.

An uninitiated affiliate may expect to make sales simply by placing a referral link on his website, or by distributing the link in an email. On the other hand, a seasoned affiliate seller knows that a unique marketing twist of one sort or another must be built into the campaign for a satisfying profit to be realized.

One tested and proven method is to develop a unique landing webpage for each and every affiliate campaign engaged.

A landing page is nothing more than a proprietary webpage owned by the affiliate seller, hosted on his website, and and located at a URL within that domain. A well developed landing page will not only contain the actual affiliate referral link, but will also serve as an introduction to the product or service being offered, and will warm the customer prior to directing her to the main sales page.

Here we present three types of affiliate landing pages that have been proven effective in promoting a broad range of affiliate products and services.

However, the reader should note that no particular order of effectivenes is presented here. Determining the best type of landing page for a particular affiliate campaign will be a matter of careful consideration and diligent testing.

Landing Page #1 - The Product Review

This style of page takes the form of a factual and objective report, and should be completely free of any wording that attempts to sell. Direct experience with the product is a must, as the writer will be providing her or his own first hand observations regarding the benefits and problems that arise while actually putting the product or service to use.

Typically, a single product is reviewed for the sake of simplicity. Yet some successful landing pages do feature reviews of multiple products within a given category. In this case, each individual product should be rated by means of an easy to understand system, ie. one to five "stars."

For the sake of credibility, the product review must reveal both positive and negative product attributes. Still, the positive factors should firmly overshadow the negative in a realistic and honest sense. If not, look for a different affiliate product to promote.

Landing Page #2 - The Pre-Sell

This tactic has also been referred to as the "soft sell." The content here can borrow some of the effects of the product review method, but should be more directed overall toward defining a problem and offering the affiliate product or service as a solution.

It is advisable to carefully examine the main seller's page to discover and capitalize on overlooked product benefits or hooks. It is also acceptable to use highlighted or bolded words and phrases to a degree, providing they will enhance the reader's understanding.

A strong headline may be used, and bulleted lists may also be inserted to clearly illustrate product features and benefits. But keep in mind this is a "soft sell" page. The purpose is only to warm the reader. There should be no hard sell or call to action other than asking her to "Click This Link to Lea More."

Landing Page #3 - The Forced Opt-In

This type of page typically consists of nothing more than a strong headline, a problem reinforcement, an offer to solve the problem, and an autoresponder opt-in box. The prospect can be immediately redirected to the main salespage after she signs up.

Experienced affiliate marketers have varying opinions as to the effectiveness of this landing page, especially when used behind a paid advertising campaign. There is some conjecture that too many prospects are lost when they fail to opt-in.

Another viewpoint is that this tactic produces a high quality list of action-taking propects with a proven degree of interest. Given these two viewpoints, it may be wise to perform a split testing action, using the forced opt-in page and at least one other landing page configuration.

Regardless of either view, the forced opt-in tactic will enable the affiliate to capture a unique and highly targeted mailing list, a valuable asset in and of itself.

Casino Affiliate Programs Earning Real Income Online

Thousands of people trawl the Inteet each and every day looking for 'get-rich-quick' schemes. The dream of eaing a significant wage for not a lot of work is a dream that drives people to try some of the more outrageous ideas. The dream of being able to quit your dull everyday job and ea a living at home with the family, investing just a few hours here and there. Unfortunately few if any of these schemes really work, even if they produce results the likelihood of them creating enough revenue to finish with full-time work forever is very small. Away from the world of e-books promising unexpected bounties and software that can do everything for you is a real world where real people make money each an every day. This is called the online affiliate program.

This is a proven tried and tested method of adding extra income to your site, simply by adding a few adverts. There are no secrets, no impossible guarantees and best of all no money to pay up front. It may sound too good to be true, but the truth is very different. Every time you have accessed the Inteet the truth to making money online has probably been right under your nose. All of those pop-ups and flashing banners are owned by affiliates associated with other sites. The vast majority of major sites and even smaller personal sites have taken advantage of what is a very simple but hugely effective way to ea money.

Industries like that of online gaming and casinos can credit much of their success to advertising in this cost free fashion. By offering website owners free promotional tools and banners they can spread their web of visibility. The more people they can reach out to the more likely they are to pick up some new custom. It is through this affiliate scheme that they can produce some of their best results. Because unlike in standard advertising where one company pays another to promote them in a simple one off transaction, affiliates ea more as they attract more people. Therefore it is a huge incentive for the affiliates to build a large customer base for not only the site but for themselves. These bonuses and constant benefits for both parties keep the both industries thriving and everybody happy. With affiliates eaing anywhere between 15 and 35% of a players lifetime money generated, there is little wonder how or why people keep joining and keep eaing through affiliate programs. Whilst no website is guaranteed to make money, the budget and amount of work are kept in check by the affiliate. They can invest as much or as little as they want. The more an affiliate is willing to invest in terms of time and money the higher the chances of success, much like in any other industry.

Affiliate Revenue Seeking and Keeping Peace in the Fam Damily

When dealing with affiliate companies for revenue on your websites it makes sense to keep an eye on what they are peddling and very carefully consider the types of revenue you use. Some websites are choosing to use highlighted word hyperlinks to affiliates. Others decry this type of advertising because it looks cheesy. Nevertheless if it indeed makes money then folks will try it. Those that have are split, some say it derives a lot of revenue others say it is pure evil; interesting debates on this topic indeed.

From only a personal perspective these highlighted words in the regular text of a website somewhat scare me as user. Why? Well, because I have no idea where the link is going to and it could be going to a website that automatically loads on Spyware or Adware to your computer. So when I see these, I will scan the article if interesting and back out of the website all together or even close the browser and start over.

Many very well known Websites in the "public science realm" do this and some of those sites I no longer visit. It would seem if it tends to detract readership then it also will lessen a website's use and therefore over all hurt the site, even though occasionally someone will click on the highlighted words link. Originally some websites used this to go to a definition of a word or one could click on the word to go to a listing of all the articles on the subject, but now most go to affiliate websites for Ads, that is unfortunate.

While on Wikipedia.com those highlighted words go to more depth in the subject of that word. So, it can be confusing and a way of trickery of the new users understanding. I find that troubling. This is an interesting subject however. And something perhaps you need to think on when considering possibilities for affiliate revenues. Consider this in 2006.

Having A Website And Not Using AdSense

I received an email from a subscriber telling me he is promoting affiliate products on his website and since I've sent the AdSense Videos offer, he's interested to put AdSense on his site but not too sure for fear of losing affiliate business.

I've been using AdSense along with affiliate products for quite awhile and I haven't noticed any significant decrease in affiliate eaings. AdSense is an important revenue stream and I simply think you're losing money each day if you're not using AdSense. Even if you're not too much into it, use it to cover your hosting fees.

Here is good way to start implementing AdSense. Build a website around a topic you're interested in but make your keyword research first at

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion http://www.wordtracker.com

Avoid using keywords that have too many searches per month or per day because this means they are really competitive.

Then you can put a few affiliate products on your website. Browse the ClickBank Marketplace for all types of products you can promote at http://www.clickbank.com/marketplace and get related content from sites like http://www.ezinearticles.com and http://www.articlebiz.com

Next, get a few links to your website and get it indexed. Of course, you need to promote your website and acquire more and more links to have a decent ranking in the major search engines for your primary keyword phrases. In the meantime, you can receive a few visitors from some search engine queries because content on your site are rich in keywords.

AdSense is partly a numbers game. The more websites and pages you have running AdSense, the more chances in eaing more revenue. But it's better to lea all you can about AdSense to get the most out of it because this will reflect in your income. I know some people still struggling with AdSense because they don't really know the ins and outs and also how to implement it effectively and lucratively for eg keywords, content, ad placement, ad layout. They also need to treat AdSense more like a business rather than like a hobby.

Affiliate Tip Create A Free Report

Writing and distributing a free report is another great way to get exposure for your affiliate products. A report is usually a 5 to 25 page PDF document that provides good information on a particular topic. You can promote your own site as well as affiliate programs directly in your report.

You can use a free report in three different ways to make money. Try to use two or even all three in every report to maximize your profits.

1. Incorporate affiliate links directly into your report

You can add recommendations to the end of each chapter, or work your affiliate links directly into each chapter.

2. Add links to pages with more information or reviews of a particular product on your site. The page on your site will of course have your affiliate link of the product on it. By getting them to your site, you can also encourage them to visit other pages and join your newsletter.

3. Use the report to encourage visitors to join your newsletter. Offer the report as a free download to any new subscriber. Not only will you be able to market your affiliate products within the report, but you will also be able to follow up with your subscribers each week or month to encourage them to buy, or offer them a different affiliate product.

A report can tu into a great viral marketing tool as it is passed on from person to person. You should encourage the readers of your report to share it with others who may be interested in the topic. If the readers of your report pass it on to three other people on average, your exposure to new potential customers will grow quickly.

You can put a report together by combining a few related articles, or by expanding on something you have already written. Of course you can also write the report from scratch. Decide on a topic and what affiliate products you want to promote with your report. You can then write your report in a word processor like Microsoft word and tu it into a PDF. Use adobe acrobat, or free software like open office or the PDF creator at http://sector7g.wurzel6.de/pdfcreator/index_en.htm to tu your word document into a PDF.

A report is easy to put together and adds yet another way to promote your products to your affiliate marketing toolbox. If you have not been using free reports yet, I encourage you to give it a try. If you can come up with just one free report a month, and get it circulating, you will increase the amount of visitors you attract and the number of sales you make.

Affiliate Revenue For Beginners

Affiliate programs can be a very powerful source of income for your website and many meaning the majority of websites on the net uses affiliate programs to generate revenue from there websites and many are making lots of cold hard cash. Here are the most common terms that you will encounter with affiliate programs

-Cost Per Click (CPC) or Pay Per Click (PPC)

-Cost per thousand (CPM)

-Cost Per Action (CPA)

-Cost Per Sale (CPS)

Cost Per Click (CPC) or Pay Per Click (PPC)

The cost per click-through; the fee charged every time a user clicks on a banner ad or HTML link. Cost Per Click is most probably the most used affiliate program for publishers. One of the most successful affiliate program is Google's very own affiliate program Adsense.

Cost Per Thousand (CPM)

Cost per thousand is the cost, per 1000 impressions, of buying advertising space in a given media vehicle. For example, $50 CPM means each impression cost 5 cents. Cost per thousand is a great way to make some revenue from your website since it pays you every time a ad has been viewed on your webpage. This is a great program if your site doesn't have a high click through rate.

Cost Per Action (CPA)

The Cost Per Action is the fee charged every time a user completes a desired action, such as filling out a form, downloading software, or viewing a series of pages. The Cost Per Action is usually a high paying program I have seen companies wanting to pay you $30+ per lead you generate for them.

Cost Per Sale (CPS)

The Cost Per Sale; the fee charged every time a user completes a purchase usually a commission is eaed. You can make some real cash with CPS programs average $40-$60 for a good program and the good thing is you don't need to control any stock or any billing.

There is a huge potential for you to make some serious cash from your website(s) but you will have to search for the right program to suit your website and your visitors also there are high potential in clicks, sales or leads if you add ads that are relevant to the content on your website pages for e.g. if your site is about cats & dogs the find ads for pet insurance or pet care. Also to succeed in the website game you will need visitors to your site so promote and promote on directories and exchange links with other sites.

Creating an Income Stream with Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs (also called Referral Programs or Partnership Programs) are essentially commission-based sales schemes. You recommend a site to your users and pick up a percentage of any sales those users generate. You benefit from the commission and the site benefits from sales it wouldn't otherwise have made. If you've ever gone to a website and seen links to Amazon, those were affiliate links.

You can run an affiliate program from a site you've already set up, or create a site specially to promote a product or service. As long as it brings in more cash than you spend on building it and buying traffic, you're laughing.

Affiliate ads work two ways: you can join them to make money, or you can run one to attract users.

Joining An Affiliate Program

As with any marketing venture, you need to be careful in the selection of an affiliate program. The benefit of an affiliate program is that it gives you another way to make money from your users. Instead of selling them a product yourself, you send them to a partner and take a cut.

On the downside though, your affiliate ads will take the place of a different ad that you could have put in that same spot. You have to make sure that each advertising position on your site is bringing in the maximum revenue possible. If you're not getting the most from your site, you're tossing money away.

The key to success is to choose the right program, right from the beginning.

Now, a lot of commercial sites run affiliate programs. That's because they know that they only have to pay a commission if a sale is actually made; it's a proven way to generate revenue without risk. What that means for you is that when it comes to choosing an affiliate program, you're going to have a huge range to choose from. What it all boils down to though is product and price.

While it might be tempting to go for the program that pays the highest commissions, the program won't pay you a penny if your users won't go there or won't buy once they get there. You have to be certain that the service you're promoting is of genuine interest to the kind of users you buy, whether you're buying them from search engines or anywhere else.

Sure, you can work backwards: You find a high-paying affiliate program and create a small site to send users to it, but do you know where to buy users for a program like that? You're going to have to research the field, check out the most popular sites, and negotiate banner campaigns and link exchanges.

That's fine if you want to invest the time and the effort. But it's much easier to find an affiliate program operating in a field you're familiar with, and use that program to ea extra cash.

For example, suppose you had set up a dating site. You might make bit of money selling subscriptions, but you might make even more by joining Match.com's affiliate program and selling them your users. Unless you're planning to be the Inteet's biggest dating site, you're not going to be able to compete directly and beat them, but you can join them—and ea money.

Or rather than sell your users directly to a 'competitor', you can look for services that complement your own. Visitors to your dating site, for example, might be interested in buying flowers, books on relationships or tickets on singles cruises. Instead of selling just one product—membership subscriptions—you'd be selling a whole range of different goods to the same people, and increasing the sources of your income.

Here are some tips to selecting an affiliate program that is lucrative and right for you:

* Don't accept less than 25% commission. You can find

affiliate programs with great payment structures and high

percentages of the purchase price in just about every

field.

* Look for comprehensive statistics pages that list the

umber of click-throughs, sales and eaings so you can

see

how you're doing. The information should be broken down

by month.

* Look for programs that offer a wide variety of

promotional tools to put on your Web page, including text

links, banners and graphics.

* Find out how often you will be paid and make sure that

the payment schedule meets your expectations. Some

programs pay

monthly, others quarterly; which is best for you?

* Look for examples of marketing methods that successful

affiliates are using to get the best results.

* Make sure that top level support is given. If they can't

answer your questions promptly and intelligently, you

don't want to work with them.

Affiliate programs offer a viable solution to competing against larger competitors and still make money. As the saying goes, if you can't beat them, joint them! Until next time...

Best Regards,

Best Affiliate Marketing Program Will Have These 3 Features

Make no mistake about it, if you simply have a good affiliate marketing program you'll be a successful affiliate, imagine what you'd do with one of the best affiliate marketing programs.

Now I know I'm talking like they are easy to come by. Like they can be picked up off the net somewhere, even if it is for a few bucks. Actually I'm going to shock you. They're widely available on the net and mostly they're free. The reason why most people have never come across one of the best affiliate marketing programs is because they wouldn't recognize it even if it hit them on the head. So a good place to start would be to start with a simple description.

The Best Affiliate Marketing Program Will Be Easy To Duplicate The best affiliate marketing program will not only be easy for you to implement and quickly get to see the results in terms of increased revenue from your affiliate program, but it should also be easy for you and others to duplicate. The reason for this is obvious. To start with it will mean that you can quickly duplicate your success with other blogs and dozens of other affiliate programs thus dramatically and quickly increasing your affiliate revenue.

Then there is another even more profitable reason. We have been highly recommending in this blog that you choose affiliate programs that are at least two-tier at the very least, meaning that are able to ea revenue from people you introduce to the program. This revenue can be substantial because with a high traffic site, you can end up introducing hundreds and maybe even thousands of sub affiliates. Getting them to register under you will not ea you money, but their sales will and the best affiliate marketing programs will tend to be so easy to duplicate that it will be easy for your sub affiliates to succeed in large numbers thus eaing you a substantial affiliate income.

The Best Affiliate Marketing Program Will Have Tasks That Have To Be Repeated Daily Another sure sign of a winner is an affiliate marketing program having tasks that have to be repeated daily, that is exactly how the best results from any marketing program are obtained.

The Best Affiliate Marketing Program Will Be So Simple That It Will Deceive Many Who Will Not Give It A Second Glance Most highly profitable and effective marketing systems are deceptively simple that most people miss them altogether. The best affiliate marketing programs are no exception. They will usually involve things you will have heard of before and many will not even give them a second glance. That is part of the reason why super affiliates, using the same World Wide Web we're using and basically visiting more or less the same sites that we do, succeed right under our very noses from stuff that we tend to ignore.

By simply accessing Christopher Kyalo's special life-changing report Sure Fire Guide To 6-figure check Affiliate Success you will be able to instantly gain passage to a highly effective affiliate link program, and one of the Best Affiliate Marketing Programs on the net. How to Choose an Affiliate Winner

The idea of using affiliate programs is to produce extra income and in the process attain total financial freedom. More and more people from all over the world are looking for a real winner.

The problem is, affiliate programs are sprouting up all over the place and there's just too many of them to keep up with. This makes the choice of the best one or ones to signup for a frustrating and time consuming process.

Before you signup for any affiliate program, I advise you to run through this check list:

1. Think about the product:

Is it a product that you would use regularly and freely recommend to your friends? Is it lower priced and more convenient to use than similar products/services available elsewhere? Finally, what about delivery. How much of a time interval is involved from when your customer orders until they receive the product/service?

2. Find out as much about the operation as you possibly can:

Beware of chain letters, pyramid scams, and exorbitant claims relative to distributor profits. Be sure to find out exactly what you will be getting in retu for your initial signup fee.

3. Find out about the companies financial backing and corporate officers:

Are they in it as full-time professional sales people? Be sure to understand/know how the company keeps track of all the incoming orders and when as well as how you will be paid.

In essence, before deciding to become involved in an affiliate program and expect to make a profit, it is essential that you understand:

It is a selling proposition. You will be required to do atleast some advertising.

You must have a product/service that appeals to most people. In other words, information or services that will enable people to fulfill their basic wants and/or needs.

You need assistance, instruction and help, in not only selling the product/service but in how to find new customers on an ongoing basis. Once you have decided to try your hand at affiliate programs and you have become affiliated with a company that has a product/service you feel will appeal to most people. The next thing is to determine how YOU want to sell it.

Remember the amount of time you spend in actually trying to sell the product will determine the amount of money you will make.

It's up to you to decide just how much time you will spend with your extra income producing project.

Picking a winning affiliate program can be exasperating because there are so many to choose from, but the ordeal can be a lot more profitable if you will ask yourself the questions I have outlined for you here.

Common Decency Let s Keep it Alive

I recently had an experience with one of the affiliate programs I *was* involved with. This experience did not surprise me, but did however, disappoint me. It is a sad fact that it did not surprise me and I thought maybe an article on this subject might bring it to our attention.

I did willingly join this program and accept the terms of which I do understand. However, when customers of this online business owner would email me with complaints about the product and the fact that the owner would not answer any emails, I definitely had to think twice about promoting this product and affiliate program.

So having decided this, I wrote the owner and asked if he could send me the small amount owed to me. I informed him I would not be promoting his product or program any longer and would like what was owed to me. His reasoning was, he would not pay me because I joined the program willingly and he had a minimum amount.

This I had to accept while thinking, "Wouldn't common decency dictate paying the small amount he owed to a former affiliate?" The money itself does not change my life in anyway of course, but the human side of this really bothers me.

I will credit him with being polite and professional in his emails, and I also did not get upset, but thanked him for the leaing experience. I also stated that I would in no way run my affiliate program in that way.

Common decency would prohibit me from doing so.

I realize we are running businesses and need to make money, but do we throw away courtesy, decency, respect and consideration to do so? I think not!

I know I am not the only person this has happened to, as a matter of fact, it has happened to me twice. The first time being a much bigger amount. The program owner just dropped out of business and left his affiliates hanging.

As a whole, the people I have been lucky enough to "meet" online have all been wonderful, caring, helpful, respectful and decent. When I first started online, that fact was a wonderfully pleasant discovery! Over time however, I did run into a few people who needed to lea common decency.

So if you run a business/affiliate program, do not let money be your first priority, make people number one and the money will follow. If you owe somebody money/service. etc., pay them. If your affiliate decides to "resign" from your program show them your good faith and common decency. Pay them what you owe, even if the amount does not reach your "minimum"!

Their reasons for "resigning" might be totally false in your eyes, but you still owe them what they did sell for you. Common decency prohibits me from "blabbing" the product/program I had this problem with, but it is no longer on my site and if people ask me about this specific product/program, I will tell them the truth.

I am not out to get this guy, but cannot recommend a product/program that I know does business in this manner.

I usually don't write this type of "venting" article, but this topic is so very important, I thought I would make an exception.

So let's think about when we are dealing with customers, subscribers, Newbies, associates, affiliates, etc., we need to keep common decency and respect alive. Do not lose sight of our fellow human beings so we can have a few extra bucks in our pocket!

How to Monetize a Free Website

For some time now I have been aggressively marketing my Geocities website without the prospect of any financial retu. The site is content based so I did not expect to generate any product sales and neither was I able to lure potential sponsors.

But that has quietly changed. Google has decided to reward webmasters with quality free websites the chance to rake in some cash for their hard work.

Google's contextual advertising program Adsense has been around since June 2003. Back then the program was open only to webmasters with their own domain names and many quickly took up the opportunity to cash in on their labor of love sites.

When the Big G announced that they were expanding Adsense to accommodate free sites, some people scoffed at the idea because they believe that freebie sites are full of junk.

I first leat of this move while browsing around a few webmaster forums and to my surprise some persons were against this move by Google. I believe that Google's intention is to bring in as much as possible quality websites under the Adsense umbrella.

My first application for Adsense was rejected and I got an explanation stating that my site was still under construction. I thought that this was a mistake so I reapplied the same day and got accepted. Right away I was able to log in to my account and start putting the code for the ads on my pages.

The control panel is easy to understand and Google provides stats and figures in order for you to track your performance. You can also add Adsense for search where visitors can search the web or your site and you get compensated everytime someone clicks on the ads displayed.

Developing content sites is key to success in Adsense. Why? Because Google's technology uses the content of each page to guess which ads are most suitable. The higher the quality of the content, the higher quality and paying ads you will attract.

Please note that getting accepted into Adsense does not guarantee that you will receive a check from them. Your success depends on many factors.

Some of them include the number of visitors, the placement of the ads, the value of the keywords on the page where the ads are shown and how many persons who will clickthru on the Adsense ad panel.

For those with unscrupulous minds, Google has ways and means to find out where each ad click is originating from. Therefore no click spamming.

Adsense is a win-win situation for all the players involved. It benefits the visitors with additional information, the search engines because of higher quality websites and you with a check every month.

It makes perfect sense to make dollars with Adsense. With this source of revenue, you can upgraded your website and take it to it's full potential.

Clickbank Data Entry

Affiliate Programs have exploded on the inteet. Thousand of people join them every day. Amazon.com is probably the best example of such phenomenal success.

If the affiliate program is so popular and so widely available and booming like mushroom...Why do most affiliate have a hard time making $100 per month ? And some never see have receive a check ? It's probably because they are not effective in their marketing campaign or doing noting at all.

But some affiliates are making big bucks. They are the one with an income of ($100,000 and over per year). There is also a big majority who still make a good income (around $10 000 to $75 000 a year). Of course the vast majority of affiliate will never make that much money. They fail miserably.Even some of the largest online merchants, who spend huge sums setting up the infrastructure for their affiliate programs, do nothing to coach or motivate their affiliates. Nor do they provide any of the basic materials necessary to optimize the quality of referrals. But, by treating affiliates as a valued marketing resource instead of a risk-free ad service, you can achieve astonishing results. This means investing effort in helping your affiliates.

The most fundamental way to prime your affiliates for effective selling is by producing a support pack that leads them in the right direction and makes the process as simple and effortless as possible.

Of course, the pack should contain all the staple advertising tools, like banners, classified ads, headlines and a variety of short and long descriptions for search engines and classified listings. But it should also include content that your affiliates can use to extend the value of their websites or distribute in their newsletters.

Don t Even Think About Affiliate Marketing Until You ve Read This Part 1

You've probably heard some of the affiliate success stories from across the inteet. You've also probably heard of the diverse benefits of affiliate marketing... Low start up costs, no products to deliver, no sales pitch to write, EASY! I was the same as you and it was these things that first got me into affiliate marketing. However, it took me a long time and several key distinctions to take my affiliate revenue from average to amazing.

In this article series I will attempt to highlight some of these distinctions in the hope of furthering your affiliate marketing knowledge and assisting in your success. I will attempt to give away as much information as possible without getting into trouble as a lot of what I am about to tell you, people are charging large fees to provide. Here are some of these distinctions.

1. Find A Good Product:
It seems so simple people often overlook this crucial aspect of affiliate marketing. If people are clicking through from your page to your merchants page and they are not being converted... You've got a problem. Most good affiliate programs will advertise their products conversion rates to entice potential affiliates. If they don't do this, ASK! Most affiliate experts recommend you purchase the product for which you wish to be an affiliate so you can sleep easy at night knowing its something you'd be confident to promote. Check your merchants page thoroughly looking at things like the general look and feel, and the perceived effectiveness… If your interested in this product… would YOU buy from this merchant?

2. Be a friend.
From a psychological perspective the reason someone buys something from an affiliate is that the opinion of someone who has used the product (ie already made the decision that the consumer is going to make) strongly confirms the pitch of the seller, and therefore the product is perceived to be more trustworthy. The affiliate should be presented as an average guy/girl who has used the product and knows the market and is different to the 'big company' (merchant) that is 'just out to make the sale'. If your page contains writing, it should introduce the affiliate personally, the tone should be friendly and informal (as you speak), and if possible could give an example of the success the affiliate has had using the product (or some other form of official confirmation of the products worthiness.)

3. Be an affiliate for more than one product BUT...
Obviously the more products you can be an affiliate for the better, but many new affiliates find it difficult to do this without compromising the effectiveness of their affiliate pitches. One great way to do this is to find a niche market that sellf more than one product. Let's take golf for example (hardly a niche market I know but go with it...) On one part of the site you could talk about the best putters (affiliate link) another part the best golf bags, another the best drivers and so forth. All your affiliate links are in AND if someone buys a putter you've recommended are they more or less likely to check out which driver you like too? You will notice however that this section did have a BUT...

Grow Your Business with Affiliate Marketing

To generate additional business income, consider expanding your business through affiliate marketing. Here are three ways of boosting your business income with affiliate programs.

1. Ea Commissions

By joining and promoting suitable affiliate programs, you can expand the number of related products and services that you can offer your customers. The company offering the affiliate program pays you commissions on products and services they sell as a result of your referrals.

Good affiliate programs will offer excellent products, website, credit card processing, commissions, sales aids and support. Your main function will be to direct your existing customers and others to the company`s website.

2. Ea Income from the Efforts of Others

In many affiliate programs, you can ea commissions on the referrals of other people that you sign up as affiliate marketers. So, now you are not only eaing income from your own sales but also from the effort of others.

3. Start Your Own Affiliate Program

By starting and promoting your own affiliate program, you can obtain a worldwide sales force for your own products and services. The beauty of this arrangement is that you only pay for performance. Your sales agents are only paid a commission when they make a sale of your products and services.

By applying these suggestions, you, too, can grow your business through affiliate marketing.

Chitika Trends Point to You Making More Money

The need for an AdSense alteative continues to grow. Soon Yahoo will be releasing their YPN to the general publishing world, and word is MSN also has something in the works. Until recently, there hasn't really been a decent alteative to AdSense.

Onto the stage rushes Chitika - a great looking PPC advertising opportunity that delivers small pictures and a nice tabbed ad, delivering 4 or five times the information that one AdSense ad delivers. This content can be keyword targeted, giving you even greater control over your ads.

Recently Chitika started offering alteate ads, which allow you to show whatever ad you want to someone on your site that is not approved in the Chitika system to click. This means that if someone from a third-world country visits your site, and they are not on Chitika's authorized country list, they won't see your ads. This is good because, if they saw and clicked your ad, you wouldn't get paid for it anyway. So it's better to just put an alteative ad, such as an ad from Commission Junction or something that has the potential to still pay you.

As Chitika continues to grow, and their userbase steadily increases, the need for quick information grows as well. Recently Joel Comm (of AdSense 'fame') released a new book, Chitika Secrets. The book, available at Chitika-Secrets.com, is a tell-all packed with great tips and ideas for any web publisher. If you are a website publisher, and are looking for a quick way to ramp-up on all of the best Chitika secrets, this is the ebook for you.

New websites such as Chitika-Chat.com are popping up across the 'net. Users are beginning to collaborate on ideas and tips that will help shape the future of online advertising.

Are you signed up for Chitika? If you are an AdSense publisher (or not!), you should consider other revenue streams like Chitika.

Affiliate Site Research

Keeping an affiliate site relevant isn't easy. You have to make sure your site visitors find your site and its content fresh, and that they keep coming back. As an affiliate or publisher, you have relationships with merchants who expect a certain level of activity (clicks and the ultimate purchases) in order for your relationship to continue long-term. This requires many little changes over time, and some larger ones on a regular basis, at least once a year. After all, you've put in all this effort, why not maximize your gain?

So, how do you fine tune and keep your site the place your users go back to for authoritative information, and merchants like because of your access to their target market? Poll your site users. Ask them what they like and what's missing. What they used to like but no longer find relevant. See if the look of you site and its navigation still have the right "feel" for them. Just because it was fine, or even cutting edge a year ago, doesn't mean it is doing all it can for you now. See what they think of your affiliate offerings, and what they'd like to see. You can use check boxes regarding parts or features of your site, but be sure to ask them to tell you what they think by providing a free-form comment box.

Why will people tell you what they think? Some will do so simply because they feel a part of your site. But others need an incentive. You can offer something free – a downloadable tips booklet, a discount at a relevant business, something small and highly relevant to their interests. It's worth the expense and effort.

Affiliate Programs and Making Money Online

Affiliate Marketing is also one of the best ways to get the word out about your product/ service. Its is also one of the best ways to make money selling these products/ services.

You will certainly have heard about success stories from affiliates who are making their living just by selling products, which they haven't even created themselves... How did they know which affiliate program to promote?

Now although, affiliate programs are a great means of eaing some handy cash; not all affiliate programs are profitable. Some will only take up your time and energy and some others may even spoil your website reputation. This is why you got to carefully select your affiliate marketing programs and make sure that they work for you same as your work for them. Given below are a few points that will help you make better decision in choosing an affiliate program that works for you rather than working only for the affiliate merchant.

Look or choose an affiliate program that

  • promotes products or services you enjoy.

  • offers residual weekly or monthly income.

  • offers products you would purchase yourself.

  • offers a high commission, (25% or higher).

  • provides promotional tools and resources that you can use to promote the program.

  • has a good sales conversion rate.

  • offers real, viable products (beware of pyramid schemes)

  • caters to a growing market or target audience.

  • targets wide audience, not a small niche that could be saturated quickly.

  • that pays! Be careful there are also dishonest program operators out there.

To succeed in the affiliate marketing game requires knowledge of promoting goods/ services not only through your website but also using other online promotion means like email marketing, online advertisements etc.

So, make it a point to do lots of reading and information gathering before plunging into the arena. There are many websites that offer quality resources and information on affiliate programs. You can run a check on any good search engine for this information.

Dealing With Public Service Ads on Your Website

Many of us start out with websites that we want to generate some income with, so we think that Google is the one and only solution to our desire or even our need to ea some extra money. And, it's fair to say that a lot of money can be made with the use of Google ads on one's website, but only if they work correctly. Money is made on these ads when relevant ads are posted on our website so that visitors can click on them and we can be compensated for every click! Unfortunately, a good deal of the time one will visit their website only to find that public service ads have been placed on their website by Google, and these ads don't pay at all when your visitors click on them.

You can report the fact that you have had a lot of public service ads on your website to Google, but generally there is not much that Google can do about it. The public service ads are placed on your website when relevant or targeted ads are unavailable, or when Google is simply unable to obtain information from the page to display relevant ads. This can be frustrating when for one reason or another ads that pay are not posted on your website continually. The reason that this is so frustrating is that you have only aligned yourself with Google AdSense to make some cash on your website, even if you are not profiting from it in any other manner.

Luckily, if you are tired of seeing public service ads on your website you CAN do something about it. You don't have to sit by and wait for Google to decide that you are worthy of those ads that pay! You can visit a website such as www.defaultads.com which will show you how to monetize public service ads and even alteate the ads shown when Google AdSense, or Chitika, and other content advertising networks cannot accommodate your needs with targeted ads on your webpage. This awesome website can help you out when you load all of your affiliate or other ads into DefaultAds when it quickly generates a link to include in your Google AdSense alteate ad URL.

This system will allow you to make money when you typically wouldn't be making any at all! The best thing about this system is that it is totally risk free. You don't have to worry about the content that will be shown as DefaultAds will only show their ads one out of every 100 impressions and they will be the same size, quality, and will even target the same category that you would target with the Google ads!

http://www.DefaultAds.com offers a free, easy way to monetize Google and Chitika public service ads by replacing them with your own affiliate or other advertising network ads.
